Privacy Policy — Sprint Canvas for Jira (Capacity Planning)

This Privacy Policy describes how Monolyn Labs ("we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use Sprint Canvas for Jira (Capacity Planning) (the "App").

Scope

The App runs inside Jira Cloud using Atlassian Forge. It displays sprint capacity insights (demand vs capacity, utilization, and health) for Scrum boards.

Data we access (from your Jira site)

To calculate and display sprint capacity metrics, the App may access:

• Project identifiers (project key / id) — to load and store project-level configuration.
• Boards (Scrum) + board configuration — to detect estimation configuration (Story Points vs time / custom field).
• Sprints (active and future) — to show the next 3 sprints.
• Issues in sprints — to read fields needed for calculations, including:
  • estimation field value (Story Points or time field)
  • assignee (accountId and display name)

Data we store

We store configuration in Atlassian Forge Storage, scoped to the Jira site + project, such as:

• selected Scrum board id (and board name)
• default weekly capacity per person
• optional per-person capacity overrides (keyed by assignee accountId)

Data we do not store

• We do not persist issue descriptions, comments, attachments, or other issue content.
• We do not send Jira data to third-party servers (the App does not use external network calls).

How we use the data

We use accessed data only to:

• compute sprint demand, capacity, utilization, and health signals
• identify data quality (unestimated / unassigned work) to calculate confidence
• render UI inside Jira for authorized users

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share customer data with third parties, except as necessary to provide the App via Atlassian’s platform.

Security

The App is built on Atlassian Forge. Data transmission occurs over Atlassian infrastructure. Configuration is stored using Atlassian-provided storage.

Data retention

Configuration is retained while the App remains installed, unless removed or overwritten by users.

To request deletion of stored configuration, contact us at support@monolyn.nl.

Your choices

• You can uninstall the App to stop further access.
• You can contact us to request deletion of stored configuration.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date above.
